The Jackals have postponed their introduction to the league until 2022. Based on press releases, the ongoing pandemic was the driving factor. Challenges arose with bringing in international players as well, and building community relationships was nearly impossible.
Obviously, fixtures will need to be rearranged, throwing the whole season schedule into a frenzy just two months before season start.
At the time, the LA Giltinis, MLR’s over expansion franchise, seems set to continue this year.
